About Me
I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, Brainspotting clinician, and Registered Yoga Teacher, with specialized training in Integrative Somatic Therapy. Through this blend of expertise, I offer a holistic, personalized approach to healing that honors the connection between your body, mind, and spirit.
I am passionate about creating a safe and stable space for people on their journey to find meaningful and sustainable healing. I implement a capacity-based, person-centered approach to build confidence, hope, and freedom of choice. I have a never-ending joy for learning and find great purpose in removing shame and stigma by empowering clients with education on how their physiology affects their psychology. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.
I believe good therapy is both intentional and creative, so I work to integrate a variety of treatment modalities into my practice to best meet my clients needs.
I value a salutogenic approach to healing (focusing on how to create health and well-being) vs a pathogenic mindset (which emphasizes identifying and treating illnesses). I enjoy incorporating bodyfulness practices (inviting the body into our mindfulness practice) so that my clients can remain calm enough and safe enough to benefit from therapy throughout the healing process.
We heal when we feel safe!

Oh, did you just want to know about Kelsey, the human?
Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my family, playing outdoors, moving my body (no way is the right way), connecting with friends, and engaging with my community.
I will always appreciate the pursuit for preowned treasures and take great pleasure in sifting through preloved items at thrift stores and estate sales.
Always fascinated by stories, I enjoy reading and sharing book recommendations with friends (please tell me what you’re reading, too!)
I love to travel and I’m always scheming places to travel with my family (it’s fun to dream together!)
